Day 4 ND and Saskatchewan

We spent the night at Fessenden fairgrounds in ND.  There was no place to sign in or pay, but although we didn't use it, they had 30 amp electric hookups for several campers.  We found this place using a camping app.  It was cool and pleasant, we would definitely stay again!  We had eggs and veggies for breakfast using our camp stove for the first time.

Train near Harvey, ND.

We are deep in cattle country.  I brought Angel and the Badman for a movie selection -- maybe the children will learn about John Wayne while we drive through the Great Plains and all the vast cattle lands.

We are trying to finish off all our fruits and veggies in the next three hours before crossing into Canada as those are a no-no at the border.

The plan is to meet up with my parents in about two or three days in Dawson Creek, BC, then go over the Rockies on the Alaskan Highway together.  I am hoping to get a Canadian SIM card for my unlocked GSM phone once we cross over, but we won't know until we get there.  My US SIM should work again in Alaska, if there is signal.

We don't know what this story is here, but there are huge rock numbers in the hills south of Kenmare, ND.  One said State Champions - football?
